Licensed Zumba Instructor
ZinEthel
Ethel’s love for dance began in her elementary school years and flourished at a dance school in Baguio City, Philippines, where she trained in Modern Jazz, Hawaiian, and Tahitian styles. By high school, she had become a professional dancer and joined the Northern Polynesian Dance Troupe in Baguio, performing with passion and grace. Beyond dance, Ethel has spent 15 years as a dedicated florist specializing in weddings and birthdays. She is also a proud Registered Nurse with 28 years of experience, currently working at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center—California’s top hospital and the official provider of the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games and Team USA. In her Zumba classes, Ethel aims to create a meaningful connection with every student. She curates playlists that span a variety of genres and eras, ensuring the music resonates with the class while staying true to Zumba’s core. For Ethel, dancing is not just about choreography—it’s about expressing oneself through rhythm and movement. She doesn’t just teach—she guides and inspires, creating an atmosphere where students feel confident, expressive, and energized. Her teaching style is often described as graceful, poised, and welcoming, with just the right mix of playful energy and refined instruction. Her students say: “She dances with grace, poise, and class.” “She’s patient, kind, and genuinely passionate.” “Her energy moves around the room, encouraging everyone to keep dancing.” “Her playlists are a hit—every class feels like a dance party you don’t want to leave.” With warmth and dedication, Ethel brings not just steps—but soul—to every session.
